In September, 2010 the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and its art leader Vladimir Fedoseyev will carry out the Festival of classic music “1000 years together” in Saransk, the capital of the Republic of Mordovia Saransk. The Festival will take place on the eve of a significant event - in 2012 the millennium of unification of the people of Mordovia with peoples of the Russian state will be celebrated.

The most important trend of activities of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra is tours with performances along the cities of Russia. The famous team was not once heard in Smolensk and Vologda, Tcherepovets and Magnitogorsk, in Tchelyabinsk, Perm, Veliky Novgorod, Tymen, Yekaterinburg… On September 6, 2010 the TSO and his art leader Vladimir Fedoseyev will perform in Sarov Drama Theater.

On August 20, 2010 the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and its art director Vladimir Fedoseyev will open a season of 2010-2011. Our orchestra has been invited to Germany at the grandiose festive occasion – the XII Festival “Night in the Potsdam Palace”. At the concert outdoors in the San-Susie square the TSO will perform A.Glazunov’s “Lyric poem”, P.Tchaikovsky’s Fifth symphony and the S.Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsod” on the theme of Paganini” for piano with orchestra with soloist Nickolai Lugansky.
