The San-Susie Park located not far from Berlin belonged in the past to the ownership of Kings of Prussia. Its castles and gardens of the Baroque’s epoch belong to the world cultural heritage.

Each year park is illuminated with a gorgeous light creating an unforgettable romantic mood when opening a turn Festival “Night in the Potsdam Palace”. Tens of participants will perform with concerts and dance showing, with theatrical productions and literature speeches. Hundreds of actors will decorate the night program “Night in the Potsdam Palace”. Masks and costumes of the past epochs meet the attendants – from the orangey till the New Palace, from the Chinese house till the Roman baths, from the picture gallery till the humble church.  It seems that the trees start speaking out. They tell about how they appeared in this place, in this unusual park the landscape of which was created by great designer Peter Leanne in style of architecture mixing the old-Eastern and Roman-Latin influences”, – we read on site of the Festival.

   
On August, 2010 the XII Festival “Night in the Potsdam Palace” will be opened. According to the XII Festival’s program one may judge on the extent of magnitude of the event.  The mass media’s interest is spread far away beyond the borders of Germany. There is no doubt that attendants of the Park will never forget this picturesque occasion where, by the way, apart from the cultural events they will expect a rich culinary assortment.

On the eve, according to the established tradition, a performance will take place in front of the New Palace, and for this time it will be the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and its art leader Vladimir Fedoseyev.
